KTCHN 3.0.

Hello nice people,

It’s been eons since my last post and my last update.

2011 has proven to be adjustment year for me; being back home in Toronto.

I have been doing some exploring within the film and television universe that has given me a few chances to travel and also, meet some talented individuals.

Just keeping busy…

Currently working on a new layout with new content.

Please stay tuned.

Thanks for all the love thus far.

Yours truly and wholeheartedly,

Justin Barton is going to run a ultra marathon of 50 MILES in aid of The DEC pakistan flood appeal!

Remember 20 MILLION people in Pakistan are still affected  by the floods.

The Disasters Emergency Committee is made up of 13 UK registered humanitarian charities, who are only allowed to spend up to 5% on administration so your money will go a long way.
£15 could pay for 6 blankets for those left without shelter after the floods.

£30 could help provide 130 sachets of Oral Rehydration Salts to treat dehydration.

£40 could pay for 16 mosquito nets to protect survivors from disease

£50 could help provide 5 families with access to safe drinking water.

Nuclear Launch Detected!

The long awaited Star Craft 2 has arrived in stores around the world. I am super excited as I’ve been waiting for this game for years now. I came to the conclusion that it was never going to be released. BUT IT’S HERE NOW – FINALLY!

Final Escape

You never take a vacation away from music do you? While I’m taking the last two weeks off from work,
I’m still on a mission for tunes.

I’m not sure if this is JavanDee’s MySpace or not but this remix by Dantini is pretty dope.
Bring on the ambient noise, the dub, bass and all the other shenanigans that makes a tune.

Loop.

Soundcrash Presents…

I’m expecting a present.

Beyond Monday

I would really love to see these guys live.

The Glitch Mob.

Who knew Cheeba?

Was at Koko tonight and I must say Cheeba rocked it.

He rocked it so hard that my card reader, along with my 4GB memory card must have fell out of my bag whilst dancing.

Lucky, I wasn’t working tonight.

Unluckily, James P will get a friendly text pestering him if anyone had turned them in.

And for those obvious bystanders at the gig, if happen to find them would you please throw me an email with your name and address and I’ll be sure to show up at your doorstep with some flowers and a massive slice of banana loaf -  if you choose to return them that is.

Lisboa, Portugal

Lisboa Summer 08′

I busted my foot the first day, which meant that I had time to spend at the hostel I was staying at, which also meant that I had time to play with Photoshop.

I can’t recall the name of the hostel I stayed at but I will find out as I go through my mountain of hard drive cemetery trying to retrace my trip, because I stupidly didn’t renew my domain and I lost my travel blog from my backpacking trip around Euro-pia. Shame, I had a lot of stories. Like hitching hiking stories and epic food mission fails. At the very least, I have photographic evidence to share with ya’ll who’s got a few moments to spare.

Anyway, I will find out the hostel I stayed at, it was one of the best ones and relatively cheap. Amazing hospitality and very CLEAN. I was considering to stay and work there before making my way back to London. Unfortunately that’s not how it played out but I guess I can always return without a bustafoot.

Watch out for those cobble stone paths.
